A Family on a Mission: Pixels of Hope: A Family’s Mission to Reach the Nations Through Faith and Video Games
In an era marked by deep cultural divides, technology overload, and rising youth mental health crises, one Hispanic missionary family is traveling the United States in a modern-day Ark — not to escape the storm, but to help others survive it.
Santiago and Cindy Montoya, along with their children, have journeyed across 23 states in an RV designed to look like Noah’s Ark, carrying with them more than just supplies — they bring hope, healing, and a bold new vision: to reach the next generation with the Gospel through the very tools that often leave them feeling lost and disconnected.
We’ve met children who haven’t had a visitor in years, teens who silently battle depression, and families that just need someone to listen” - says Cindy. “Technology is just the doorway. What we’re really offering is connection.”
At the heart of their mission is Noah’s VRK, an innovative virtual reality (VR) experience and Rain Hope Games a children’s mobile app that transforms the timeless story of the Bible into an immersive, discipleship program throughout video-games for today’s youth.
Developed over a decade by a global team of artists, developers, and theologians, Noah’s VRK is more than entertainment — it's a tool for rebuilding faith, restoring family, and reigniting hope.
The Montoyas’ journey began in August 2023, when they sold everything they owned in Miami, Florida, and set out on the road. They’ve visited schools, campgrounds, gas stations, churches, and forgotten towns — anywhere people are willing to engage. Their bold idea quickly evolved into a movement powered by love, faith, and urgency.. "We believe we’re living in days much like Noah’s — filled with chaos, distraction, and despair” - says Santiago. “But just like back then, God is calling families to build something radical. This is our Ark”
They are driven by one conviction: If we want to heal our nation, we must first restore the family.
With the app already approved on Apple and Android, the Montoyas' have laid the foundation — but they now face their greatest hurdle yet: bringing this movement to full life. They’re seeking partners, donors, and mission-minded believers who recognize the urgent need to reach this generation where they are — inside the pixelated worlds they spend hours in daily.
“We’re not changing the Gospel. We’re just translating it into a language today’s kids understand” - states Cindy. "Pixels are the parables of this generation.
Their story is not just about video games. It’s about a family that dared to leave comfort behind, believed in the impossible, and built an Ark of hope — not on a hilltop, but on four wheels, rolling across America with one message: God still saves, still speaks, and still restores.
