A hopeful adventure
Amidst global chaos and uncertainty, the Montoya family embarked on an unprecedented journey to build a modern ark of hope through innovative technology.
There are critical contexts that warrant decisions and drastic measures: wars, economic and environmental crises, the extreme use of technology and social media by the new generations. These factors led the Montoya family to ponder certain questions: Are we living in Noah's times? Where is society heading? Are we experiencing a time of chaos that requires the courage to do the impossible for a change?
The answers troubled them. Their initial reaction was panic; then they began to believe that there might be a light at the end of the tunnel, but to reach it, they would need to take action.
Thus, an idea emerged that initially sounded absurd to some of their friends and family: leaving everything they had in Miami, United States, to rise amid chaos and build an ark in the present. But not just any Ark. One that could transform the sad reality using the resources and tools of current technology.
That idea evolved and took shape as weeks and months passed. First, they bought a motorhome that looks like Noah's Ark on the outside. Then, they sold everything they had and left behind their sedentary and established life in Florida to embark on a never-before-seen adventure on four wheels.
So, in August 2023, the Montoya family set sail with their ark on a mission along the east coast of the United States that took them four months. In 12 weeks, they covered over 4.000 miles, visiting different states and cities in The United States , communicating a message of hope to the new generations through Noah's VRK, their virtual reality project that tells the biblical story of Noah's Ark in virtual reality.
Now, the Montoya family is finalizing details for the start of "mission 2," in which they plan to travel the west coast of the United States. But this is not the only project for early 2024.
Far from staying in a place of comfort, Santiago and Cindy Montoya are proud and excited about the upcoming launch of Noah's VRK on different platforms. This event will mark a turning point for them as a family but also signifies a bridge of hope for all those who refuse to accept the harsh reality we live in globally.
With the highest technology developed for over 7 years by a multidisciplinary team from different countries around the world, this team came together for an innovative project that will mark a before and after in society.
But, do you know the best news of all this? That even though it might seem like this project is completed, it is just beginning: the development of Noah's VRK is only at 35%, so many stages are still to be completed.
An ark is not built by one person alone. Just as Noah had the help of a team, contributions and donations are needed to continue telling this hopeful story.
If you are interested in this wonderful project that seeks to use current technologies in a positive way and want to contribute to its continuation, this is your chance!
