One of the greatest challenges facing our faith communities today is how to help people find God and turn to Him for salvation. Although we can all agree we should use God’s word to change hearts, that still leaves plenty of creativity for how we share that message of hope.
That’s where faith-focused virtual reality can change lives around the globe through cutting-edge technologies. After all, it’s one thing to watch something like a movie. But it’s quite another to have a virtual experience that feels like real life.
In light of this, would you consider donating to NOAH’S VRK? We’re bringing the unrivaled story of God’s love and redemption through the Biblical experience of Noah and the Great Flood. We’re using virtual reality to share the truth of God’s love for a human race that is suffering and in desperate need of divine restoration.
Who We Are
We’re a family of Jesus followers who received the grace of God six years ago (Dad, Mom and two children). We live in Miami, Florida. God used our local Christian community church by the name of Living Presence (Presencia Viva) to reach us.
Now, God has given us the desire to reach others with the good news of salvation through Jesus in a unique way. We’ve also been blessed with a team of digital creators, software developers, VR game engineers, 3D animators, sound engineers, digital illustrators, copywriters, translators and interpreters among others, who share the same passion for virtual reality outreach!
What Makes Noah’s VRK Unique?
We’ve all longed to experience events from the past. Maybe as a kid, you strongly desired to visit the Earth when the dinosaurs still walked. Or, to witness a famous historical event.
Nestled in the book of Genesis, the story of Noah’s ark has captured the imaginations of generations going back thousands of years. Millions have wondered what it would’ve been like to see the event and actually experience it.
The good news about virtual reality technology? That dream isn’t as out of reach as many would think. The story of Noah’s ark is one that shows both God’s need to judge sin but also the incredible hope Noah and his family experienced because of God’s mercy.
Yes, our sin has separated us from God. But God longs to restore that relationship through the sin payment of Jesus Christ. The ark withstood the beating of the waves and surf to save Noah, his family and the animals. In the same way, Jesus took the beating we deserved by dying on the cross for our sins. Noah’s ark is a powerful redemptive story that deserves to be shared in an unforgettable way.
Who Will NOAH’s VRK Positively Impact?
First, we’ve taken on this big project to give it back to our community including schools, churches, and youth groups who want to see God’s message compellingly shared through virtual reality. Our hope is to eventually have a far-reaching impact beyond our community as well throughout a unique and extraordinary experience.
This faith-based virtual reality experience is especially for people eight years of age and older. Having said that, we have a special burden for the youth around the world. We want to provide a way for them to see God’s love for them.
Our youth have already seen too much evil enter their lives through technology. We want to use that same technology for good. And given how in-tune today’s youth are to technology, this is the perfect medium reach them with!
Why Give Now?
NOAH’s VRK is a family project and has been funded currently at 10% of its total costs. We have received support from friends and family members that also wanted to be part of this journey. Despite this, we still need your help to reach the 100% mark.
The sooner we can complete NOAH’S VRK, the quicker we’ll be able to share the experience with our community and the world. We're raising funds to hire the necessary professionals to help us complete this development. We also need to buy required licenses for the animals, environments, sounds, and interactions to bring all this together. Some equipment and technology are also necessary for this project.
