Why We Go

It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure it out — the Church was never meant to stay inside the building.

When we go back to our first love, we look at the first church we read about in the Book of Acts: a church that was mission-minded, willing to lay down its life for the lost, and move with compassion toward those in need.

Today, our communities are hurting, many are suffering — and the Church of the 21st century must rise again and fight back with love, truth, and action.

We’ve seen it time and time again: when the Church steps out of the walls, you can’t walk away unchanged. Something happens when faith meets the streets — when love becomes visible.

Our hope is that people will see the simplicity of outreach. We tend to complicate things, but Jesus’ command was clear:

“Go into all the world and preach the good news.”

That’s what Grill Walk Pereira is all about. Simple. Real. Powerful. A grill, a Bible, a smile — tools that can be used anywhere, by anyone, to share the hope of Jesus.

Because as Scripture says,

“How will they know unless someone tells them?” (Romans 10:14)
